MAKING WAVES IN FOOD SECURITY
TM Design Helps SWFF Expand Storytelling With Graphic Design

SWFF Infographic

Securing Water for Food (SWFF) is a cool organization doing amazing things. They support scientists, entrepreneurs and innovators around the world who are helping to produce more food with less water.

SWFF teamed with TM Design to up their graphic design and messaging game, and we came through for them. Take a look at a few of the projects we have created with them – attention-grabbing infographics (this one won a Communicator Award), a Gender Report (another Communicator Award), and other communications materials such as annual reports, investor one sheets, and case studies.

Helping organizations that help others is good business. But it also makes us feel great to have them look good and to see them succeed and thrive.

Graphic design works for organizations of all kinds. Can we help you look good, too?

IS YOUR OFFICE "GREEN"?

TMD Recycles

Do you have an office recycling program? Do you ride share? Do you use LED lights? What can you do as a team to help the environment?

We all have seen the images of plastics floating in the ocean and the terrible thoughts of sea life swallowing plastic bags. A Greenpeace study found that plastic pollution in the ocean has had a negative impact on 86 percent of all sea turtle species. These images alone should make one think twice before throwing that water bottle in the trash. But did you know that recycling reduces pollutions by cutting down on the manufacturing of new materials? According to the Office of Waste Management, creating an aluminum can made from recycled material requires less than 5 percent of the energy needed to create a brand new one.

Did you know that plastic straws can't be recycled not because of the material they are made from but because of their size? It is estimated that Americans throw away about a half a billion (yes, with a “b”) straws a DAY. Those straws could circle the earth twice. Let’s not get into the number of straws used in a year! So what is the solution? Paper straws are an option. Or bring your own reusable straw. Contact us, and we will send you one.

In the meantime, get your office on board. Use recycled paper. Bring your own reusable coffee cup. Not sure where to recycle those ink cartridges or batteries? Earth911.com can help. Go green!
