Breaking Barriers: USAID’s Partnerships Incubator Impact

USAID’s Partnerships Incubator worked to strengthen and expand partnerships between USAID and local organizations worldwide, making it easier for new and underrepresented groups to engage in U.S. foreign assistance. The Incubator collaborated with local leaders to identify knowledge gaps and then delivered the skills and tools to build their self-reliance. Through capacity-building programs, training, and digital tools such as WorkwithUSAID.gov, the Incubator helped organizations navigate the complex funding process, enhance capabilities, and ultimately increase their impact in local communities.

TM Design worked with USAID and the Partnerships Incubator team to create a range of resources—from simple factsheets to extensive learning modules, from technical assistance guides to data visualizations—that partner organizations identified as essential to success. We helped deliver actionable insights and toolkits users could tailor to meet their unique needs, all of which were housed on WorkwithUSAID.gov.

This initiative is inspiring because it broke down barriers to fostering accessibility and equipped local groups and communities with the knowledge to sustain and scale their efforts. We are proud to have supported the Incubator team in this meaningful step toward more equitable and effective global development.
